Bell & Ross serves an esoteric aesthetic with this Cyber Skull rendered in bronze.
Why we love it
Since 2009, Bell & Ross has been crafting timepieces that prominently feature skull motifs, producing a diverse array of models that celebrate this intriguing memento mori. Among these creations, the BR 01 Cyber Skull launched in 2020 stands out with its modern and geometric interpretation of a design that has become quite familiar in the watch world. Unlike its predecessor in black ceramic, this new iteration is crafted from bronze, offering a fresh perspective on the iconic style.
The Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze reference BR01-CSK-BR/SRB is essentially a bronze counterpart to the original black ceramic version. The watch case is constructed from CuSn8 bronze, showcasing a blend of brushed and polished finishes. Meanwhile, the screw-down caseback, made from CuAI7Si2 bronze, incorporates a sapphire crystal, allowing a glimpse of the movement's reverse side. Inspired by the design of stealth aircraft, the angular square case measures 45mm in diameter and is 13.7mm thick, delivering a lug-to-lug profile of 46.7mm. It is powered by a manufacture movement BR-CAL.210. This hand-wound calibre generates a reserve of 50 hours.
What you should know
This Bell & Ross Concept BR-01 Cyber Skull BR01-CSK-BR/SRB has minor nicks on the case. Otherwise, it is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
