Born from a spirited partnership between Breitling and Triumph Motorcycles, this Top Time Triumph captures the energy of classic British engineering and the carefree style of the 1960s café-racer era.
Why we love it
This Breitling Top Time Triumph A23311121C1X1 brings together two brands with a shared love for performance, design and character. Its 41mm stainless steel case has a clean, balanced presence, but the real charm lies in the ice blue dial. The colour is drawn from both a 1951 Triumph Thunderbird 6T and an extremely rare Top Time from the 1970s, and the soft brushed texture gives it a refined vintage glow. The signature bow-tie pattern adds depth without feeling busy, offering a subtle nod to the earliest Top Time models.
Oversized mushroom pushers give the chronograph a purposeful, mechanical feel, while the tachymeter scale hints at Breitling’s long history with motorsport. Inside, the watch runs on the Breitling 23, a dependable self-winding movement with a 48 hour power reserve that keeps the chronograph responsive and smooth.
The black calfskin racing strap reinforces the café-racer influence, and the caseback carries an engraving of Triumph’s parallel-twin engine that ties the story together. It feels like a watch built for enthusiasts who appreciate thoughtful design cues, historical connections and an easygoing sense of style that never tries too hard.
This Breitling Top Time Triumph A23311121C1X1 shows scratches on the case, caseback, and clasp. The leather strap is in satisfactory form.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
