Sculpted for impact, engineered for precision—Laureato Chronograph 42mm defines modern horology.
Why we love it
The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph is a study in refined sportiness and architectural harmony. Distinguished by its iconic octagonal bezel—an enduring design signature since 1975—the watch strikes a perfect balance between sculptural presence and contemporary restraint. The silver-toned panda dial, featuring the signature “Clou de Paris” pattern, shimmers with geometric depth, while the contrasting black sub-dials lend it a confident, modern edge. Blued steel hands and indexes punctuate the composition, enhancing legibility while adding a subtle accent of colour.
At 42mm, the case proportions deliver an ideal balance of boldness and wearability, underscoring the Laureato’s design philosophy—where precision engineering and timeless aesthetics coexist effortlessly.
Inside, the self-winding calibre GP03300 reveals Girard-Perregaux’s technical mastery, offering a 46-hour power reserve and visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Its integrated stainless steel bracelet and folding clasp ensure seamless comfort, while the chronograph complication adds both utility and visual dynamism. The Laureato Chronograph stands not merely as a sports watch but as a modern icon—crafted for those who recognise that true refinement lies in proportion, detail, and enduring design integrity.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
