A contemporary take on a spacefaring icon, the Omega Speedmaster Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006—widely known as the “Sapphire Sandwich”—delivers the Moonwatch legacy with a refined edge.

Crafted in stainless steel, its 42mm case houses the hand-wound calibre 1863, a movement that echoes the one worn on the lunar surface, now made visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The dial, shielded by a matching sapphire crystal front, features the hallmark tri-compax layout: a small seconds sub-dial at nine o’clock, 30-minute counter at three and a 12-hour totaliser at six. A white central chronograph hand and luminous markers bring high legibility to the classic black backdrop.
