Back in 2017, Omega introduced a new variation of the emblematic Speedmaster. This new Speedmaster 38 was fashioned with a heavy focus on aesthetics and design. It was a new direction, that segued this iconic line from sporty to dressy.

While the form remained the same, a combination of elements changed the perception of the watch, making it less sporty and more elegant. Foremostly, the size was reduced to 38mm, which instantly elevated its versatility, allowing both men and women to wear it comfortably. The focus on aesthetics is first spotlighted by the use of a Sedna gold outer ring in addition to the aluminium tachymeter one on the diamond-studded bezel. Similar touches of gold beautify the crown, pushers, and the hour markers and hands on the dial.
