This Panerai piece delivers the signature Luminor DNA in a more slimlined, elegant package, an ideal if you want the heritage feel without the bulk.
Why we love it
The 42mm stainless steel case of the Luminor Due remains unmistakably Panerai in shape, yet its thinner profile and polished finish make it feel far more versatile than the brand’s classic oversized pieces. The ivory sun-brushed dial combines clarity and warmth, with luminous hour markers, rose-gold hands and a small seconds sub-dial at nine o’clock. A date window at three adds practical utility without cluttering the dial.
Inside the case ticks Panerai’s P.900 automatic calibre. It keeps the case elegant by staying slim while offering a 72-hour power reserve and dependable everyday performance. The sapphire crystal sits cleanly over the dial, giving a crisp view of its balanced elements. The black leather strap and polished steel buckle complete the look, ensuring the watch sits comfortably and elegantly on the wrist.
What makes this version special is how it reimagines Panerai for modern wear. It keeps the brand’s unmistakable style and presence, yet presents it in a way that works equally well under a shirt cuff or with casual attire. This Luminor Due offers a harmonious blend of heritage, comfort and practicality.
This Panerai Luminor Due PAM01249 has scratches on the case, caseback, and clasp. Moreover, the leather strap is soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
