Prepared to be dazzled by the magic of Panerai’s proprietary alloy, Goldtech.
Why we love it
Panerai has been making waves by reducing the size of its traditionally oversized timepieces. In 2023, the iconic brand has introduced 40mm models within its diving-oriented Luminor collection, and this evolution is now extending to the Radiomir range. The term "Quaranta," meaning forty in Italian, aptly describes this new series. After previously unveiling several Radiomir Quaranta eSteel models tailored for the Chinese market, Panerai has now added a luxurious Goldtech variant to its offerings. Goldtech is Panerai's unique proprietary alloy, a sophisticated blend of platinum and copper.
The new Radiomir Quaranta in Goldtech features an elegantly polished gold case and complementary bezel, highlighted by a white sun-brushed dial that has undergone galvanic treatment. The signature sandwich dial maintains a minimalist aesthetic, displaying numerals at the 12 and six o'clock positions, index markers for other hours, a date window at three o'clock, and a small seconds display at nine. An oversized transparent sapphire caseback reveals the intricate P.900 automatic movement within. With a remarkable thickness of just 10.15mm, this timepiece stands as the slimmest model in Panerai's entire collection.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
