The retrograde date is indicated by a crescent moon-tipped hand at the edge of the dial. The day of the week, month, and phases of the moon are displayed at nine, three, and six o'clock respectively. The aventurine creates a starry night backdrop, with cut-outs on the dial for tracking lunar phases in both hemispheres. The transparent caseback provides a clear view of the in-house automatic calibre PF339. This movement is an upgraded version of the PF331, featuring an added module for the Retrograde Annual Calendar and an accurate moon phase complication. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it boasts a power reserve of 50 hours from dual barrels. The moon phase mechanism is designed to require adjustment only once every 122 years, provided it remains in continuous operation.
