This Piaget Polo Chronograph “Blue Panda” blends sporty elegance and heritage flair, creating a refined statement that’s clever, confident and unmistakably modern.
Why we love it
This Piaget Polo Chronograph “Blue Panda” G0A46013 made its debut in 2021 and immediately stood apart within the Polo line for its crisp silver and blue palette and its cleaner, more architectural presence on the wrist. The familiar cushion-shaped case remains, yet the dial introduces a striking panda layout with vertical symmetry that breaks from the more monochromatic editions seen previously. The contrast between the sun-brushed silver surface and the rich blue counters sharpens the chronograph’s legibility and lends the watch a spirited, almost retro sporting energy while staying true to Piaget’s refined design language.
The movement behind the 42mm stainless steel body continues the maison’s commitment to slim, elegant mechanics. The in-house 1160P sits behind a sapphire back and reveals a matching blue oscillating weight, a detail that quietly ties the movement to the dial. Its column wheel construction and vertical clutch ensure smooth engagement and a precise chronograph feel that suits the Polo’s contemporary rhythm.
The choice to produce only 888 examples gives this edition a sense of occasion. Piaget has long favoured symbolic numbers and the triple eight evokes luck, symmetry and continuity. It also reflects the brand’s desire to keep this version special within a line that already offers a wide range of materials, colours, and complications. The rubber strap, integrated seamlessly into the case, grounds the watch in modern sportiness while maintaining the polished elegance that defines the Polo.
This “Blue Panda” feels like Piaget at its most confident, balancing playfulness with precision and giving collectors something genuinely distinctive within a collection that is already rich with nuance and heritage.
This Piaget Polo Chronograph “Blue Panda” G0A46013 has visible scratches and dents on the case, caseback, and clasp, while the rubber strap is in good form.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
