This limited-edition Captain Cook is the first Rado watch powered by the new R808 calibre, developed to exceed standard accuracy requirements across three to five positions. Its performance is further enhanced by an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring and an impressive 80-hour power reserve, reinforcing its credentials as a serious modern dive watch.

For the first time in the Captain Cook line, high-tech ceramic is used extensively across the design. The entire bezel and crown are crafted in high-tech ceramic, while ceramic inserts with an anti-fingerprint structure ensure the watch maintains its clean, matt-black appearance in daily wear. The 43mm case is water resistant to 300 metres and paired with a smoke-tinted sapphire crystal that adds depth without distracting from the tool-watch character.

At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
