Bringing together vintage dive-watch charm with modern-day practicality, the Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G delivers a refined take on the traveller’s watch, dressed in bold two-tone style.
Why we love it
This 41mm Black Bay GMT model is crafted from stainless steel and features luxurious 18k yellow gold details on the bezel, crown, and bracelet centre links. The result is a confident two-tone aesthetic that elevates its sporty profile. The 48-notch bidirectional bezel is fitted with a brown and black aluminium insert marked with a 24-hour scale, allowing seamless tracking of an additional time zone.
Beneath the domed sapphire crystal lies a matte black dial with luminous hour markers and signature “Snowflake” hands trimmed in gold, ensuring legibility in all lighting conditions. A date display at three adds everyday convenience, while the gold-toned GMT hand adds to the subtlety. At the heart of the watch beats the COSC-certified manufacture calibre MT5652 — an automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve, equipped with a bidirectional rotor system and silicon balance spring for superior precision and reliability.
Completing the watch is a riveted steel and yellow gold bracelet, secured by a folding clasp with safety catch. Water-resistant to 200 metres, the Black Bay GMT S&G combines rugged capability with vintage sophistication, making it an ideal companion for both international travel and everyday adventure.
This Tudor Black Bay GMT M79833MN-0001 has minor nicks on the caseback and bracelet. The case and clasp have marks as well.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
