The Navitimer has carried a circular slide rule bezel since its 1952 launch — a functional calculation instrument for pilots to compute speed, distance, fuel consumption and rate of climb. At 35mm, Breitling keeps the bidirectional slide rule intact, with its beaded edge allowing precise rotation, on a stainless steel case that measures 9.92mm thick. The cambered sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides, the caseback is screwed in, and water resistance holds to three bars. A non-screw-locked crown with two gaskets keeps the construction practical for daily wear.

The mint green dial is the configuration's specific character: an unconventional colour choice for a collection built around aviator instruments, and one that reframes the Navitimer's heritage in a distinctly contemporary register. The slide rule and the colour exist on the same surface without contradiction.
