The green Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert is the single element that separates the 126610LV from the all-steel Submariner's other configurations, and the contrast between that green and the 904L Oystersteel surrounding it is as immediately recognisable as any in the collection. Rolex notes on the official page that Oystersteel belongs to the 904L steel family, alloys used in high-technology, aerospace and chemical industries where maximum corrosion resistance is essential. The bezel's numerals and graduations are coated in platinum, the knurled edge is designed for grip even with gloves, and the Cerachrom insert is virtually scratchproof and UV-stable. The Triplock screw-down crown seals the 41mm monobloc Oyster case to 300 metres.

The black dial carries Chromalight hour markers and hands in triangles, circles and rectangles, their long-lasting blue luminescence providing visibility at depth. A luminescent capsule on the bezel's zero marker ensures the timing reference is equally readable. The Cyclops lens sits over the date at three o'clock.
