The 40mm Oystersteel case runs on a monobloc middle case, with a screw-down caseback and winding crown that seal the movement to 100m. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the dial, and the smooth bezel keeps the profile clean and unbroken.

The black dial carries the Explorer's three, six, and nine numerals, filled with Chromalight material that emits a long-lasting blue glow. The centre hands share the same treatment, so the dial stays legible well into the dark.
