The Avenger Chronograph 43 sits as the smallest in the Avenger chronograph range, and the official Breitling page frames it explicitly as the most versatile configuration the line offers. At 43mm and 16.43mm thick, the stainless steel case carries a unidirectional ratcheted bezel, a screw-locked crown with two gaskets, and water resistance to 300 metres. The crown and chronograph pushers are designed with a special grip pattern for gloved operation, a specific aviation-functional detail. The cambered sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides, and the screwed-in caseback seals the construction.

The black dial carries a three-register chronograph layout tracking to 1/4th of a second, with a 30-minute counter and 12-hour counter alongside the date aperture.
