The Submersible Amagnetic's 47mm brushed titanium case achieves something that steel cannot: a watch of this scale that doesn't announce its weight. Grade 2 titanium is hypoallergenic, resistant to corrosion and notably lighter than steel, qualities that Panerai notes are also prized in the military, aeronautical and aerospace industries — the same professional contexts the Submersible was built for. A soft-iron inner cage sits beneath the dial, forming a Faraday cage that shields the P.9010 movement from magnetic fields up to 40,000 A/m, more than eight times the figure required by international standards. Water resistance is up to 300 metres.

The black dial carries luminous baton hour markers and partially skeletonised hands, a small seconds at nine o'clock and a date aperture at three o'clock. The blue-accented seconds hand is the dial's only point of colour against the black surface.
