What will I need to provide for cost estimation?

In order for us to make a fair estimation, we will require pictures of your watch, its warranty card and invoice. Additionally, we’ll also need to know if you still have the original box.

How long will it take before I receive payment for my watch?

After you are happy with our offer and the necessary paperwork has been completed, we start processing the payment. Cheque payment will take at least two weeks, while it will take a minimum of three days for a credit note payment. Credit notes may be redeemed by you at any Ethos boutique, for any brand, for any product of the same or greater value than that of the voucher amount.

How will I get paid?

You are welcome to choose a payment method that suits you best. You can either opt to receive your payment via cheque or in the form of a credit note.

Is there any paperwork that needs to be done?

The paperwork starts soon after you accept our offer. When an offer is agreed upon, our team will get in touch with you with details on the necessary paperwork.

I don’t have the original invoice, warranty, or box for my watch. Will it affect the price that I will be getting for my watch?

We don’t limit the number of watches that you can sell. Feel free to reach out to us with more pieces from your collection.

Is it possible for your team to give me the exact price for my watch based only on its images and description?

Unfortunately, images can only give us a basic idea. Hence, any price quoted based on images we receive is only an estimate. To quote the exact price we’re ready to offer, we will need to check the timepiece physically.

Will I get any document on depositing my watch at the boutique?

Absolutely! Staff at the store, where you deposit your watch, will issue the required documentation to show acknowledgement of the receipt

How long does it take for the inspection of a watch?

The inspection of a watch takes about two to three business days.

How do the stores deliver the watches?

To ensure the safe delivery of watches, we take every precaution with appropriate packaging by engaging the services of reliable courier partners.

Why is my ID required for payment to be processed?

In order to safeguard the interests of all parties involved against fraud and the selling and purchasing of stolen goods, we do need to verify and confirm all information we receive on the basis of official documents, including valid identification.

Why wasn’t my watch accepted?

There are a number of reasons why a watch we receive for evaluation might not be accepted into our catalogue of pre-owned watches for sale. These can be discovered only upon physical examination of the watch. For instance, a watch can be found to be in a much poorer condition than we expected, based on prior communication, or it might contain after-market or inauthentic parts. Unfortunately, under such circumstances, we will not be able to accept the watch.
