While the case, 44mm wide cast in lightweight titanium, is fantastically made keeping comfort and wearability in mind, it is hard to focus on anything else but the movement on this reference 95.9002.9004/78.R584. Of course, the presence of the prestigious EL Primero movement per se makes one bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, but here things go a different level with the COSC-certified El Primero 21 calibre that measures 1/100th of a second. In order to do that, this automatic calibre comes with a separate mainspring and balance wheel, and its oscillating system beats at a crazy rate of 3,60,000vph. Consequently, it allows the central chronograph hand to complete one full rotation every second. Also, Zenith has very aptly put this marvellous movement on full display through a skeletonised dial and exhibition caseback. On the dial side, chronograph subdials featuring a 60-second counter at six o'clock and a 30-minute counter at three o'clock are positioned. Whereas, at 12 sits a power reserve indicator.
